Free and open source
receive.link is released under the GNU General Public License, version 3.0 or later (GPLv3). The browser client and the server are open source, so you can read, run, audit, and modify every line, and verify for yourself that it does what this site says.
Copyright © 2026 receive.link. The "receive.link" name is used as a product and brand name; the GPL covers the software, not the branding.
What the license gives you
- Use it freely, for any purpose, personal or commercial.
- Study how it works and change it to suit you.
- Share copies, and share your changes, as long as you pass on the same freedoms. The GPL is a "copyleft" license: anything you build from it must also be released under the GPL, version 3 or later, with its source kept open.
- No warranty. The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
